In Living Color

Lately we have been seeing a lot of this color. From the "going green" movement, to the decorated evergreens sitting in our living rooms. I'm a fan of color in general and I just recently joined a site for color lovers where you can make your own palettes and patterns (as I have done with these two). I have always been fascinated by the meanings and symbolism of colors. I am choosing to highlight this color because of the mistletoe and because cool people like green.

In honor of the trendy plaids this season, I'm loving it.

Here's how green affects us...
-soothes
-relaxes us mentally and physically
-helps alleviate depression, nervousness and anxiety
-offers a sense of renewal, self-control, and harmony
I took the What Color Are you? Quiz, and come to find out that I am green---you are a very calm and contemplative person. Others are drawn to your peaceful, nurturing nature.
I think that might be a little true, maybe not all the way. But I'm happy to join the green club. Let's let the color green or movement positively affect us all year round.
"Color! What a deep and mysterious language, the language of dreams"
-Paul Gaugin French Post-Impressionist Painter 1848-1903
